DEFENSIVE CARBINE I CLINIC

This clinic covers the basic defensive use of the carbine (AR platform 5.56/.223). It will begin with the fundamentals of marksmanship and move into more advanced drills. Students will improve their carbine handling skills with a strong emphasis on the fundamentals. Students will learn self-diagnostic skills to continue development of their own personal performance.
DEFENSIVE CARBINE CLASS I
8 HRS
This 8 hour class covers the basic defensive use of the carbine (AR platform 5.56/.223). It will begin with the fundamentals of marksmanship and move into more advanced drills. Students will improve their carbine handling skills with a strong emphasis on executing the fundamentals correctly, and efficiently applying the correct amount of urgency into your gun handling and shooting as required for defensive firearms. Students will improve their carbine handling skills with a strong emphasis on the fundamentals.
DEFENSIVE CARBINE CLASS II
8 HRS
This class is a continuation of our defensive carbine series. It includes additional drills, 50-yard qualification course of fire, field firing to 100 yards, and live fire malfunction clearance drills. This class covers the basic defensive use of the carbine (AR platform 5.56/.223). We will begin with a review of the topics and fundamentals of marksmanship from Defensive Carbine I and move into more advanced drills. Students will continue to improve their carbine handling skills while reinforcing the fundamentals of marksmanship. Timed drills will help the student learn the balance between speed and accuracy.
Prerequisite: Defensive Carbine I or equivalent carbine training (8-hours or more)
LOW POWER VARIABLE OPTICS
2 DAYS
The Low Powered Variable Power Optics (LPVO) Class is a 2-day, 16-hour tactical firearms training with the purpose of exploiting the LPVO to its maximum capability. Shooters will be challenged by executing various courses of fire (COF) testing their ability to employ the LPVO from CQB to combat engagement distances out to 600 yards. Additionally, shooters will be trained to gain the most advantageous position to exploit the LPVO's unique capabilities. The culminating exercise will allow shooters to employ all of the knowledge and techniques taught by the instructors in a buddy-team fire and maneuver live-fire exercise, engaging targets from CQB to long range engagements.
This course is for shooters with carbine platforms equipped with an LPVO (1-6X through 1-10X) who want to know what it takes to get accurate first round impact on targets beyond 100 yards. It is also for those of you who have higher capability rifle platforms with optics of higher magnification. The fundamentals of precision accuracy will be presented.
Prerequisite: Defensive Carbine I Class (8hrs) or equivalent carbine training (8-hours or more)
DEFENSIVE KALASHNIKOV
8HRS
This 8 hour class covers the basic defensive use of the Kalashnikov (AK-47/74 platform 7.62/5.45/5.56). It will begin with the fundamentals of marksmanship and move into more advanced drills. Students will improve their AK handling skills with a strong emphasis on executing the fundamentals correctly, and efficiently applying the correct amount of urgency into your gun handling and shooting as required for defensive firearms. Students will improve their AK handling skills with a strong emphasis on the fundamentals.
TACTICAL RIFLE I
2 DAYS
This 2-day class covers the basic tactical use of the carbine (AR Platform 5.56/.223). It begins with the basics, including fundamentals of marksmanship, equipment selection, safety, manipulations, reloads (tactical & speed), and malfunctions. Students will increase their proficiency in close to midrange firing, tactical engagement of targets, ballistics review, the use of cover and move into more advanced drills. Primary focus is raising the accuracy level and tactical handling of the carbine.
TACTICAL RIFLE II
2 DAYS
This course reviews the fundamentals and then focuses on refining accuracy and multiple target engagements. Drills will emphasize weak shoulder, moving, awkward positions, prone firing, and moving into more advance long-range engagements.
HIGH-RISK PROTECTIVE SERVICE
2 DAYS
This course is designed for PSD operators in high-risk areas. A strong emphasis will be placed on moving and shooting in, around, and from vehicles.
