Jose is a retired Army veteran who served over 21 years in the Army and Special Operations. He spent 18 years of his total Service in 1st Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment and 75th Ranger Regimental Headquarters. He has participated in numerous overseas combat deployments. He has continued his government service since retirement for the last 15 years as a civilian member of the Asymmetric Warfare Group (AWG) where he serves as an Operational Advisor and Combat Developer. 

Jose is a certified FBI firearms instructor and holds several other certifications of training through several other government agencies. Apart from Jose’s involvement in training he has been an active participant as a combat developer of weapons program initiatives and Soldier Survivability solution sets.

He has roughly 40 years of operational and developmental experience dealing with the employment of weapons systems and their application to military operations.
